RE: painting plastic interior parts
use sem products.use a plastic prep cleaner.use a primer for plastic and use a paint for plastics.i just painted my interior carmine red and haven't had that many problems.it's all in the prep.i had a few piece's that fish-eyed on me ,had to strip it back down, cleaned it real good ,didn't have problem the 2nd time.i must have skipped a spot with my cleaner.i dont know what color your painting, but go to www.paddockparts.com or www.nationalpartsdepot.com and they have all the different colors to choose from.they have plastic paint and plastic dye.in my case the dye was a little lighter color than the paint so i went with the dye.

Also when i dyed my inerior, I had scuffed the hard plastic with scotchbrite/emery paper. It roughens up the plastic to give the paint/dye something to bond to. The Krylon plastic fusion works wonders, It's been 2 years since I had dyed my interior and no fading, flaking, or peeling.
