I think it looks different, not necessarily better or not necessarily worse, just different. I do like the three piece spoiler and I currently have it on my car. I'm just looking to be different.....I guess the full vinyl top I'm putting on it will help with that though lol. Just got the vinyl top molding the other day!

Well it would be better than no spoiler at all lol. But i also think a late 2nd would look good with a 3 or 4 inch cowl scoop, i havent seen one of those around me at all. just a T/A with one but i do see alot on the net.

Actually my car didn't come with any spoiler. Someone put it on at some point. Late 2nd gen. Camaro's with 3 or 4 inch cowl hoods are dime a dozen around here. I put a 4 inch cowl hood and 3 piece spoiler on my last '78 Camaro.
They seem to put cowl hoods on everything in my area. I have a '78-'79 Z28 hood and fender vents on my current Camaro. If I ever went with another cowl hood, it'd be a 2 inch metal one. I kind of like the hood I have now though. I opened the scoop up so it gets fresh air. It's not to high to have to look over.

I don't think it looks to bad actually for a drag car. If that makes any sense. I prefer the 3 piece spoilers immensely over that one on there though. The hood looks great though. I've got a 4" on mine, but it is far from done.

I have the '78-'79 Z28 hood on my car. I think with the 4 inch cowl hood that's on that car the taller 3 piece spoiler would look better. However, I think with a lower hood the one piece spoiler looks ok.
