Default opinion please

I have a 1967 camaro rs convertible needs motor. It had a 350 in it.with a 400 auto trans.what should i put in it.

Tough question thels x engines have really peaked my interestbut looking at the values of cars like that I would keep it as original as possible.

It's 30 years old, is a classic...i'd have to restore it to original.

the vin says true rs car. convertible wrong color paint. was yellow now triple blk

Depends if you want a driver or a show car. If it didn't come with a big block in it then it's not worth as much as one that did come with a big block. But unless they are numbers matching the car isn't worth a great deal more with the original engine in it anyway so I'd put what you want to in it.

Iwas thinking big block for fun. i will have parts for a 350 lt1 if any one needs them

This site states that vin number only tells if it is a v6 or v8 no detail on what type of v8 ???? My trim tag on my 68RS only says v8 but not which one. Any body
know for sure on how you can tell. Is this why there are so many SS cars ?
