Default new vs old!

This thought literally just passed through my brain, but why does gm have to go and do all these 1LT's and 2LT's or 1SS or 4SS packages with the new camaro's? (a lil sarcasm there!) Why cant you just leave it as follows- Base, RS, RS/SS, SS, Z-28. Next thing you know they will be doing a 3Z-28 or some dumba$$ thing like that! End Rant!!!

I think it makes things easier in their computers to not reuse the older designations. Just a guess.

GM can rot in hell for making a ZR1 Camaro and no Z28. Start rant...

I think you mean ZL1 Damon, which is the top of the line Camaro this year. But before you get your panties in a wad you might note that the Z28 is scheduled to be reintroduced this fall. Let's keep our fingers crossed that it happens!

I agree, but was happy to see it badged as an SS, even with the ZL1 designation. I don't care much what they use for a designation as long as the badging is traditional. They can designate it an XB7 or some weird thing, as long as it says Z28, SS, or RS on the body.
