Hey guys, name's Chris.
About me: I am enlisted in the United States Army, and am currently deployed in Afghanistan. I am and always have been a big Camaro fan. Before purchasing my current 1980 camaro, I owned a 1992 RS 305 TBI anniversary Camaro. When I deployed I was stuck between a rock and a hard place, so had to sell her. since being over here I thought I earned another Camaro so I bought my 1980. My 1980 has a 427 with 500 miles on it, it has a mighty demon carb msd DIST, 6al box, and some other goodies. The trany is a bulletproof hughes with a 3000 stall converter. Has subframe connectors and traction bars. things that I do have to work on though however are the door hinges, they sag. weather stripping, and some trim work. I got to drive it when I was home one leave for the first time a few months back and it is an amazing experience. Hope to ask you guys some questions down the road. thanks for reading.

Once I get back, I am hoping to be able to replace my rear drums out for rear disc. I was wondering what needs to be done to accomplish this.

Depends, what do you wanna spend really. A kit can be had or S10s and 4th gens work too.

I am currently doing the LS1 conversion. The same as a C5 except smaller rotors. 12" verse 13". I got the prints for the brackets and am saving tons by doing this my self. Buying parts is nice but the satisfaction from "building" my car can't be matched.
