Default New purchase! 79 z28

Hey all got a 79 z28 today.
Hey did these cars come with rear disc or was that added?\
It's a 79 real Z28 data plate verified that 350 with a quadrajet carb.
Still has the cat on it and was repainted recently
what do you think?

Very nice looking car.As for the disc brakes in the rear,i'm not 100% positive, but i dont think that was an option for the camaro, although you could get them on the same year trans am's,so alot of people have taken them from old t/a's and put them on their camaro's.

Leave the stock air cleaner on only if you want to show the car as 'original".
Otherwise, an open air filter will help the engine breathe better, plus it'll make the engine look a whole lot nicer.

Looks good pretty sure rear discs were not an option. If you'd like to add to your collection I know of a guy that has a 1980 Z/28 he purchased new. He's had it 32 years. Has a bunch of work done on it street/strip ready.

Car looks great, looks like it doesn't need much work, if it were mine i would clean up and detail the engine bay and leave it as stock as possible. nice find, good luck
