getting a 75 camaro tomorrow
Few things need done, transmission mounts need some work. He said the shifter torqued under some load
brakes need attention
some body work and paint
and cleaning it up a little bit, maybe take interior out and sound proof under and spray it clean.. degrease engine etc.
Overall nice car though, was wondering what the 75 camaro usually sells for? going price for them when they are in good daily driving condition.
Dark blue metallic paint and black leather interior
350 with 3 speed manual
Also, there anything on these 75 cars to bump up the performance on them? wanna keep it mostly stock as far as heads go. But maybe intake/carb/exhaust
it still has factory 2 bbl, factory cat converter, nothing has ever been touched on this car.

Welcome!
I think that '75 with a 3 spd. is a pretty unusual car! Don't see very many with a 3 spd manual trans. The average 75 in decent shape (non Z car) will bring around $2000-$3,000 around here. I saw one just recently on Craigslist with new paint, nice tires and wheels, and only 68,000 miles for $2500.
Is that a 3 spd on the floor or the column?

Might bring more in your area. Seems that 1974-81 Camaros don't bring big prices here, but there's also not a shortage of them either!

Very nice looking car! If you've got the money I'd say go for the 4 spd, but hang onto the 3 spd, as it's a rare car with a 3spd, so best to keep it around in case you sold it later. Otherwise just have the 3 spd. rebuilt, as it's probably just bad synchros.

What's a rebuild usually cost?
Might need a clutch also
syncro cause gears to pop out? Doesn't really grind much, just pops out and 2nd you have to slam in and hold, was thinking more of shift forks and worn down gears

Really depends on what it needs. You'd have to take it to a transmission shop and ask them. I'm pretty sure they could drive it and tell you what they thought it needed, then you could negotiate the price of them R&R the tranny, or you. If you can do the removal and reinstall it will save some money. You could also change the clutch, pressure plate, and have the flywheel resurfaced while the tranny was out for repair.

True. Just didn't know what a standard rebuild would cost labor wise
what would be a good start to build up the engine a little? I get just a lil power at low end, then it just gets louder and has the same speed increase
intake/carb/exhaust?
