Default new guy with a 80 R/S project

Hello everyone, Been checking out this site and it looks to be a friendly place to come to. Well i have had my car just about a year now. But i have known this car for 15 years as my neighbour had it. Well i remember about 8 years ago he parked it in the garage and got married and never drove it since. Well last summer he put the house up for sale and asked me if i could help him sell the camaro, It has not started in 7 years so i told him there could be problems lol. Well i got it to run and he came by to see it run again after so long. He said it sounded awesome and turned it off and threw me the key. He said 15 years of buggin for this car it is time to own it lol and that's how i got this camaro. I guess all the work i did with him in the past on the house paid off

The car ran bad lol oil leaks seals and tons more was wrong but we knew it would be from sitting that long. So i did put a fresh motor and tranny in all new brake lines pads and shoes. The floors are in awesome shape so no work needed there. i did the body on it added rims and tires and new mufflers. I also changed the interior from tan to black added a B&M shifter and just small things here and there. It will be painted this summer

But on with the pics lol

when i got it just washed up and waxed as it was a dust buggy when i got it

FREEBIE? Somebeash thats a good deal. You can tell its been parked for awile. Like an 80's time capsule. What are your plans for it? I remember all I wanted when I was a kid was a Camaro with sidepipes.
