Default new guy

I'm doing a 78 to 70 RS split bumper body transformation (everything but the back window) and LSX swap into my 78 camaro, I saved the car from "the claw", its rough but it was free and I wanna fix it up so if anyone can point me in the right direction, I'll be eternally grateful. my powerplant is a 5.3. H.O. all aluminum engine,799 heads, ls1 cam, ls2 intake, ls1 camaro brackets, 4l60e trans. also if anyone wants any of the stuff I'm pulling off I'll take pics of whatever anyone is interested in.

Welcome crash, front end is a direct bolt on, rear end you'll have lots of fabricating to do. Where abouts you located, i might need some parts? you have the original hood scoop?

I'm in deep south texas, there are y o u t u b e videos of the car from the previous owners, just search "78 lsx turbo camaro" its red with a primer gray cowl hood. if anyone want to trade the fiberglass cowl hood for a non rusty stock hood I'd be down for that. I'm going to turn the all red interior, to a more modern looking all black interior, and the exterior is getting cyber gray paint with the black stripes. so if anybody needs any of my red interior pieces those are gonna be up for grabs also.

the interior is pretty rough in my opinion, but its all there. I'm thinking about putting C4 Corvette suspension front and rear, has anybody done this yet?? I have a crashed C4 thats is mostly stripped but I bought it for $200 for the front/rear suspension and I was thinking about using it on this project

for all the work that would be involved in doing the c-4 suspension you would be better off upgrading the factory suspension with parts from protouring f-body or hotchkis!

I like the idea but the reality is you better be as good with a welder as you are with your thingy.
