Default new to domestic vehicles

Ok ladies and gentlemen who are reading this. I know alot about imports and too little about domestics. Basically i want to know which 2nd generation camaro is the best. I'm about to buy a 79 camaro for a steal of a price, but I want to know what year camaro made the best 2nd generation camaro. Thanks for your time!

I my self have a 79 camaro, and ya it feels like a boat. Thereare alotof parts that you can't find new, or they haven't come out with yet. I'm still waiting for them to come out with the new taillights lenses that they keep moving back a month.

To answer your question, the 1970 z28 is the most kickass second gen, maybe best camaro ever

I agree with Riceeater, almost. All 70-73 Camaros are awesome looking. They also can handle pretty well with some modification.

Either way your buying an old *** car and if you want it to perform well, lots of stuff will need to be upgraded

Hey dont be strayed away from the 79' its all in good fun if you build it up you can make a sick muscle car out of it! i have a 77 myself and yes i would much rather have the 1970-73 front end but that can be done! but for yours its a much different change the older you get when it comes to the second gens the better it gets in my opinion 1974 was the last year they used the same style rear window as the 70-73 and then then switched to a bigger one more curved glass = better vision but more of a pain to get your trim! any of second gens would be worth getting in my opinion so what if its a boat!? stick a sweet v8 in there and let your boat run ! whats the point of buying a muscle car if all you want is tight turning and lightness??????
