Hey guys, first of all, thanks for the posts on my previous question.... Now I am looking to buy a 1977 Camaro from a small little dealership and I was wondering with the gas prices the way they are is it even worth it?

 

if u can afford the gas, then yes. its always worth it to drive a sports car

expect mileage in the mid teens tho for an older car like that, higher for a smaller motor, lower for a larger motor

 

I second what SpecterGT260 said. Make sure you can afford gas. I have Lincoln V8 which gets about 17mpg. I am spending $60/week on gas so if I were to get a camaro (hopefully pretty soon), the 15mpg that it will make does not make much difference.

 

meh, yea I own a 80 camaro and a 95 bmw the 95 gets 26 mph the camaro gets about 16 I still drive the camaro more, even tho gas costs me 70 a week But yea it is worth it. I even put in a overdrive transmission in her and about to put a posi in. Gas prices will always rise, but I will remain a Proud American.
