all it needs is a speedo, im making a stainless gauge bezel, and putting digital gauges in it

just gotta look, this is the second camaro, first was a 91 rs, ttop auto. i like this one a little better ha

Sounds like you came out ahead on that deal! Does the hood open without pulling the scoop? Looks like minimal clearances that wouldn't allow it to open with the scoop in place.

thanks rydeer, yes it opens up with out hitting anything, its close. But it clears it. Ima do some work on the hood, it looks like he cut it out with a ban saw :/. doesnt look great. time to wrap some 22g around it, grind it out, and re paint.

right now im focused on the interior, getting my digital gauges, new seats, and center consol, i have a b&m shifter that looks good, but the dash, seats and gauges dont look good, thats my main concern. So come january, ill start on the hood

You definitely got a great deal on that trade,especially here in Ohio where the older camaros are getting very hard to find still in good shape and not rusted out without having to pay a small fortune for it haha.

What's 22g? If you want to clean it up you might take some blue painter's tape and run it around the edges, then you'll have a nice straight border to guide you, and protect the finish too. I'd use a sanding disc on an angle head grinder and carefully sand it smooth. Then you can use touchup paint to paint the raw edge.
Or if you want to really finish it off weld a piece of edge material all around and then lend it in with filler and repaint the hood. That' what I did on my old hotrod.
