Need some ideas.

Need some ideas.
Here's the deal, I've got one last summer before I'm joining the military so I want it to be a blast. I've got a 78 Camaro Z28. It's got a 350 with a mild cam, Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, Holley 750 CFM double pumper, and a pair of Hooker shorty headers. I plan to slap a higher stall, probably a 2800-3000 on it. I'm also going to be running straight pipes that dump out just in front of the back wheel out to the sides.
With that background I'm looking for some other good ideas to dress it up both in performanceand some in looks. I've got a fewideas but I've found it's always helpful to hit the forums and get ideas froman outside source. I'm not looking for a drag car, I love my top end too much. I'm just looking for a street car that's got a decent kick in the *** and I want to keep my 160 MPH + top end all without breaking the bank. I know it's a tall order but I'd appreciate any advice.
Also, I'm have a huge brake problem. The pedal is sunken to thefloor and hasverylittle resistance. I've replaced the power brake booster, master cylinder, and even a proportioning valve installed, all tono avail. I'm going to try a vacuum reservecanister to seeif thesteeper cam that it has is screwing with the vacuum system but I'm open to anyother possible solutions. You should note as well that Ihaven't blead the brakesyet, butI'm pretty sure there isn't air in the lines (doesn't feel like it anyway).

RE: Need some ideas.
Usually when a brake system runs out of vacuum the pedal gets hard not soft. Did you bench bleed the master before installing? Make certain there is no air in the system, bleeding is a good start to diagnosing your problem.

The brakes aren't soft, it's sort of hard to describe. It's as if the pedal is depressed almost all the way already. When I actually step on the brake pedal to stop I pretty much have to mash it to the floor to achieve normal to moderate breaking power. In an emergency once, I literally had both feet standing on the brake and pulling against the steering wheel and none of the wheels locked up. If you need me to clarify anything I'll do my best. Also, when it comes to thebrake system, the only thing I've installed myself was the power brake booster. Everything else was done by a mechanic, I'm assuming they had enough of there **** together to do it correctly.
