Can anyone recommend a good mechanic in the S.F. bayarea that's not too expensive.
I just need some basic work on my stock 1970 Camero.
I have all the parts but want to have a good mechanic install them.
I want to put on a set of Vortech heads, camshaft, Edlebrock carb.,manifold, MSD ignition and distributer, headers, coil over suspension and bushings, hurst automatic shifter and a few other small things.
I don't have a garage otherwise I could do most of the bolt on stuff myself, but as for the tuning I want someone with a good reputation since I am changing a lot of parts at once.
What kinda cost am I looking at to do this job...estimate?
The car is a daily driver and I want to keep it that way, but would like a few more MPH and torque.
