Well I finally dug the Camaro out of the garage after sitting there for 5 yearsand went and rented a dolly and towed it to the highschool to use as my project for a class

My new Cam and lifters just arrived in the mail today.

looks like a long , fun dirty road ahead!

 

Ive got the cam and all the liftersout and pretty much stripped the engine as much as you can without taking it out of the car. All I got left is to clean all the junk off the engine and then I can start putting the engine back together to see if it will run without leaking coolant into the engine.

Then its on to the brakes and suspension

 

Just got the new cam and lifters in. Had the oil pan out and got it all cleaned up and all the junk washed out of it. Need to pickup a new starter and batterey so I can turn the engine and line up the timing marks on the timing gears.
