Default My 78 Project

After further inspection of the car, I have decided to tear it down and completely redo everything. It currently has a 350 with a th 350 Transmission, unknown rear end gears. Interior is in total dismay. Planning on stripping it down to its shell. I need to replace both rear quarter panels and rear taillight panel. Floors look to be good but I will know better when the interior is out. Planning on a 454 with a th 400 looking for a 3.73 or 4.11 posi rear end. Thinking about cloning it to a Z28. Here are some pictures of it in its present state.

Looks like a nice project. I love following threads like this...just as long as you show us every detail if your project. haha Jeep us informed!

That master cylinder looks real bad. Oh well...as I would say just another opportunity for new parts!

Hey I post on my progect thread every week or so. LOL Damn balancer is kickin my but right now. Just got an A/C delete box I'm gonna put in soon.

Thats a big ole boy ya got there. Happy too. My youngest is a tank, he will be pushin big brother around pretty soon. If your going to clone it as a 78 z, they don't make repop emblems yet. If you find any, you are the man. I just saw a NOS one go for 130 on ebay. Another 80 on the rear one. They do make 80-81 for some gawd awful reason.

I like your carb, but that type of gas isn't high octane!
