Default lt1 swap in 67 camaro why dont you all do it!

Its like falling off a log! I had the old motor out and the lt1 bolted down in about 2 hours. the fuel system gets done today and me and my buddy are re working the harness after that. should be able to drive her tommrow afternoon. and all for under 2k including the lt1.
I tell ya what i wish i did this sway a long time ago. Now in about two weeks i get to bolt on my home made twin turbo setup and jump up to around 400 h.p. lets up my rear end holds up!!!

my question is why does my husband "HAVE TO" replace the motor in his restored 67? It has a 350 and runs great, but he "NEEDS" a 454 stroker with all of the trimmings. Is it a macho thing or what. The car was plenty fast enough? I say why mess with a good thing?

yoy are very correct. he is a wonderful husband and father. he provides for us well enough that I can stay home with the kids with no problem. thank you for reminding me to appreciate him and to let him have his "toys"

waite till you need to get it tuned. you will need a computer and someone that knows how to do it. when with the orignal you can do it with simple hand tools.
only 400HP with twin turbos? I make that with a mild 350, no NOS, single carb

thanks for the welcome. We are from S.C. We do have some pics, but I hate to admit that I am computer-illiterate(sp?) and cant get them on here. Sorry, I will try again later.

400 AT THE WHEELS with 6 pounds of boost and this is a ruff figure. I can tune it my self with my laptop and tunercat using a aldl cable. not that hard.id rather do that then tune a damn holley.

O and the motor will be all stock so more then 6# i will start breaking **** and no one likes to break ****. This is my daily driver rain or shine hell snow or shine. so 400 horse and 20mpg is allright by me
