Default looking for the best cleaner

ok i got the subframe off my 78 and now i want to wash the firewall any and all suggestions are welcome, best cleaner and degresser???

I like gunk and a pressure washer. Then mild soap and a wipe with thinner before paint.

Default Degreaser

I just used Super Clean in the purple bottle from auto zone on my subframe, it worked pretty good but i did not dilute it. One gallon about 10 bucks.

For cleaning engine grease off the engine and compartment area, here's a real "off the wall" product I use....Engine Degreaser.
I'll bet that's what that stuff is made for, and probably why it works so well. Who'd a thought, eh?

Whatever you use, make sure you scrape off the heavy stuff first, and it will work much better. If you simply spray and wash you'll do a lot of it before you reach the metal.

It's that stuff that gets slung up off the road. You know, Ford droppings.

The ford really should have called the Mustang, the Pigeon...

You drive a ford off the lot it is already leaking.... a frickin toyota, and 150K miles and it is spotless...go figure...

But I do get 200K plus out of every Ford truck i have owned....Ranger, and F150...

If you are degreasing a Crusttang, you will need Crustang remover...
