Default Little problem!!!

Alright so I just put new wipers on the car so I can take it to get a safety test so I can get it tagged and when I put them on i turned on the wipers and they worked great but then when I tried to turned them off nothing happened they just stayed on....,,,!!!???? Any help

Sounds like a short or a bad switch.

sounds like the switch went on you. Id suggest pulling the bezel off (couple screws) and simple disconnect the wires from the back of the switch untill you can get a replacement.

(damn bb427 beat me to it by about 5 seconds

yea i pulled of the switch to get them to stop so yea i thought it would be something with the wires but i guess i need to start looking for a wiper switch now!!

If it stopped when you pulled the switch, then you definitely found it's the switch. Easy fix, once you find a replacement. But they are rebuildable too, if they're not broken. Check this post:

did u get ones that fit proper under the hood, the first time i replaced mine they were to tall so they caught on the hood couldnt fit under and stayed on so i got smaller ones.

I was able to get switch replacement at Advanced Auto Parts for a couple bucks...nothing too bad
