Default lights, camera, action...wait...no, forget the lights

So several questions here, but the first being,

On my camaro the left lights (front that is) don't work. They're dim, but the blinker doesn't work nor the head light. Also, the right turn signal is flacky. Any suggestions as to where to start looking?
Second. on this link does anyone know where the reinforcement bar goes? (#9).

oh yes, and to add to those questions.
...and this one makes me feel real dumb, but how do i change the oil? I can't find anywhere to add the oil... is it under one of the valve covers?
Also, changing out the radiator fluid...is their a quick way to drain it?

Yeah, you pour the oil into the valve cover, i put it in where the cleaner/breather is. And on the rad, there should be a drain hole at the bottom. For the lights i would just start with new bulbs first.

Check for voltage at the sockets! Often the issues you're having are related to bad grounds. If you read the socket voltage to ground and it's not 12 v. then read it from the socket to the battery - post.

Seriously, not b-sing me about pouring it into the value cover (where the breather is?).
I think your right about the ground, i'll go and check that.
No, no one punched it in the eye...the off roading trip prob didn't help though.

you could always just throw on a good solid new ground on each side so you're guaranteed that they have good ground then...

on mine i had to replace the socket on the right side because a tree dripped leaves and water on that side and the socket had lots all the internal connections in a pile of rust

bought a new one a t the auto parts store( 1157 ) and replaced it using quick disconnects

Yep, into the valve cover, confused me a little when I got my first American car (Trans Am) and spent 15 minutes trying to find the oil filler on it !!
