just a question
hey im thinkin about bying a second gen camaro and i was just wonder some basic stuff like, is it a good investment? wat are some easy horsepower upgrades? and so on so if anyone could email me anything that would be sweet, spartyac@yahoo.com
Really, no car is a good investment unless it is a certified classic. But in most cases get a car you like and enjoy it. The second gen cars are getting pretty old, so it all depends on what knd of life they led. If you going to upgrade the engine and drivetrain, look for a good body, free of rust, wrinles, and other signs of a major hit. Look for cracks on the roof by the top rear corner of the window. These are stress cracks which are almost impossible to fix permanently, and are a good indication that the car had a hard life. Use a magnet and check for thick bondo repairs, so that the first time you hit a big bump you don't drop parts of the body on the street.
ya im 17 me and my friend have just finshed redoing a 2003 vette that was in a accident and we are selling it and i will have about 4 grand to put into a car so i was wondering if i should go with a second gen camaro i just really like them thanks for the info
