I just bought an 81 z28. The previous owner has gutted the AC from the car. No more compressor tubes/hoses. My question is.... Can I remove that big box in the passanger side corner and replace it with a normal heater core and cover ?

 

Welcome. yes, you can do it. its called an a/c delete box
