I've had a manual shift tranny so long that it feels weird now to have my Suburban do it all by itself! The Burb has a TH400, and nobody ever hooked up the kickdown. I need to get under it and see what's needed to get it working too! It shifts fine, but no kickdown.

^ You got it easy with a 400, kickdown works electrically with a wot switch.

I'll have to check it out. The previous owner said "It was too complicated" so he never hooked it up.

It wasnt important to me. Took me 6 months to install the glove box door. Still haven't installed the actual glove box.

If it doesn't make the car faster I tend to procrastinate.

Yikes! That reminds me, I've got a new glovebox insert for my Suburban that still isn't installed! Better get moving, or it might get worn out sitting in the backseat!

Hey BB427
If your car came with t400 then kickdown switch should be right above throttle pedal
