Default Instrument Cluster Panel

As embarrassing as this sounds, I am being thwarted by the instrument cluster panel, mainly the wiper switch. It is the only thing keeping the panel on, and appears to either be glued or screwed into place. Am I missing something with removing the switch, or is there a groove that the switch just slides into on the panel that requires an upward/downward motion? Last thing I want to do is buy a new switch.

It's been a while since i took mine off,but if i remember right i think there is a metal clip on the back side of it.If you can get your hand in behind it feel for a lip on the clip and it slides off.
