Installed line lock

Default Installed line lock

i just installed my line lock on my 80 camaro! do i need to bleed the rear brakes also or just the front?

its a valve that goes in your brake lines so that you can bring your rpms up in gear and not move (for racing) its usually on the rears my dad had it on his 73 camaro but he had it on the front so he could do nasty burnouts

lol and now he yells at me when my car smells like burnt rubber yet theres a pic of his car and all you can see is the headlights shinning thru the smoke

The simpler answer is it locks the front brakes and lets you do a burnout without power braking it.

ive never seen them on the front (except for my dads car) only on the rear and all 4 in an audi once damn that car would smoke the sht outta all 4 tires when he let the lock up

I've never seen them on the rear? Every drag strip car uses them on the front.

well ive only actually seen 4 cars with them the audi my dads camaro a challenger and a judge the challanger and the judge had so much power that im assuming if they were on the front the wheels would spin no matter what

That's the only instance where I'd think a line lock would be installed on the rears; a front wheel drive vehicle.
