I need computer help
For some reason when I double click on some links they wont open. The curser changes to the little finger dude, but nothing. I tried opening in a different window so I could see whats happening and it just says connecting. Not every linkk is like this, I'm bummin. For example the post about the new guys 75lt I can't open, my login button for my bank wont open. The new thread button here worked fine. I can't open any link when I use my comcast search engine but bing is cool. Someone help.

I just left click once and it works, maybe you have a virus? maybe try a disc defragment.
BTW 75CAMAROLT photobucket is allot better than imageshack, you can paste pics in the threads for easier viewing.

Use Linux (Ubuntu is best IMO) or get a Mac. Problems solved. But if you insist on windblows then it sounds like you have a trojan or a bot taking up your bandwidth and breaking your firewall. Try running malwarebytes and your AV program and see what happens.

I'm not nearly as computer savy sa I am with cars. So if my computer came with widows then windows it is. I almost bought a mac and dunno why I didn't I guess the HP was a better deal. I may just have to bring it to my electronics prof. He also teaches computer repair so that should help.
I was anti-mac/apple for quite a long time. I can run a computer, repair and manage them like nobody's business. I got into College for Computer and Network Security and there we worked with alternate OS's like Linux and Unix. I got to really like the open source stuff and now I have more alternate OS's than windows. The Mac thing hit me when I applied for a job and they asked if I had Mac experience. I didnt but I was framiliar with the OS from my UNIX and Linux experience. It didnt matter to them I didnt get the job. So I went out and bought a Mac-Book Pro and a couple of books on the OS-X operating system. Now I use my little Mac more than my PCs. Great little machine, more expensive yes but worth it. My next desktop machine may be a Mac as well. and the iPad will end up in my collection too.
