I love it when a plan comes together
It lives. My 383 fired instantly within two full rotations. My kids started crying. BAD. I had to rig just about every aspect to get this thing running. I didn't hook into the cars wiring harness. So I ran 12v to the MSD and then put jumper cables on the truck to that battery. The for the fuel pump I already have the car plumbed but didn't have the pump in. I put the cell up on saw horses then screwed the fuel pump to the side. For power we ran leads to the battery on my buddy Dan's pickup. It was a cluster by all means, but worked perfect. The down side is the rear main is leaking like a b**ch.
The other guy in the video is Dan, a good friend who has been a mentor to me for years. He knows how to tune much better than me.
Here's a video.I'll put more in my project thread later. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UoqJjVRBR4o

Roller cam. Yes it is a fresh build. Next time, when I have things hooked up right I'll bring it up to 2g for about 10 min. and let things get to know each other. It didn't have much run time at all yesterday.

Oh that's good, a roller cam doesn't require a "break in" period like the flat tappet does. You'd be doing the engine a favor (for the ring's sake) if you saved the rest of the break in for once the car is ready to hit the road. I know, it's hard to fight the "ants in the pants" syndrome.
