Default I just bought this 78 Camaro (Pictures Included) Did I get a good deal?

Well I have been looking around for a 3rd generation Camaro for about 6 months now and came across this 78 for a REALLY good price. The guy says it is a daily driver and runs perfectly with no problems(So far so good drove it 150 miles home) . Paint has no chips or peeling. Has all leather interior and no cracks/ripped. All new headliner, carpets and other interior stuff. All guages replaced to be digital. Power windows and locks. Has aftermarket radio system installed and the 3 peice spoiler. No heat and air. All powered by a strong running 350 (Edelbrock 4BBL Carb) and a Turbo350 transmission. So what you guys think?

no to shabby for 2500.00 considering the body looks fairly* clean. and the thing runs well i assume cause you drove it 150 miles home. id say you got a pretty good deal. the car definatly needs alot of work to be done. but over all, she dont look to bad. i like the louvers in the back.

one thing though, your amperage gauge is reading 11.2, while the car is running it should be higher about 13ish would be more normal.

but again it looks like a fun prodgect/ driver. have fun and post more pics of things you do while you clean her up

one more thing....please get rid of that thermostate housing with the ported vaccum switch that isnt connected to any thing. sorry i dont meant to pick on your car. i just hate that stuff

Pretty nice car for $2.5K. I like the paint and the louvers. It looks like a very decent car and even looks too nice to be a daily driver (though I am not a specialist or anything). Both of my cars (not Camaros) have dings and paint chips from "daily driving".

Ended up not having a clear title. Go figure. Returning it tomorrow for full refund.

First thing it’s a 78 camaro who cares if it’s been in a fender bender as long as it been fixed, it only costed 2500 bucks it looks good in the pics and what does it say why it doesn’t have a clear title, has it been totaled or was it just a little fender bender. and i dont think you will find a nother camaro in this yearin the same shape for 2500 bucks so think about it before you get rid of it.
