Can some one tell me how long the shifter handle should be on a 68. One in the car now is a Hurst, measures 12" long, from bottom to top of threads for ball, this includes the bend at the bottom. Compared to others I have seen in pictures of 68 Camaros, it seems short to me.

 

I think it is 14-16 inches.
