Horn question
Ok, so we're making progress and now it's on to the horn. It seems to be working from the sterring wheel to the relay since when you press the button you can here a click at the front of the engine but no horn blowing. Again, there are severalwires unattached there but no place for them to go. Anyone know of a replacement that would be good? We have less the 2 weeks to get this thing registered and then inspected.

RE: Horn question
Ok.. we have the volt meter (thank god never used one tool so much in my life.. hahaha) Where should I test it at? The relay box? My husband things it's missing some spring out of the steering wheel but since you can hear a clicking noise at the front of the engine when you press the button I am thinking's it's from the relay box to the actual horn. Sucks neither one of us really knows much about cars.. hahaha.

RE: Horn question
You can check the horn by disconnecting it and taking two wires and putting one to positive and one to negative on the battery to the horn components and it should sound if it's good. Most horns with two connectors don't care which one's positive and which one's negative as they're switchable contacts. For single contacts I'm not so sure since I haven't had that much experience with those. In fact I'm running into shorts with the horn on mine that past day or so. Hopefully the relay I bought will fix my problem as the old one seems like it's been in there longer than I've been alive.
If you're hearing clicks coming from under the dash then that should be your horn relay which is a three prong connector and you can get it for less than 10 bucks at almost any autoparts store. First check your horn though to make sure it's functioning hardware. You can get a new horn for around 13 - 18 bucks depending on what you want and even though it has two prongs it still accepts a one wire connection if your car uses that.
Hope that helps.
