Default Hi Everyone, I need Quick help please!

Hey everybody, I'm new to the forums and I plan on sticking around awhile, but my dad and I just bought a 1970 Camaro today and it's missing the whole front clip basically. We have the sub frame and some suspension parts but no sheet metal.

My dad knows a guy that has the hood, fenders, bumper, core support, nose cone, and grill for $450. We haven't seen it yet, but he says its in good condition.

Question is, if it's in any shape at all for all of that, is that an okay price?
Oh and I believe it is a 70-72 clip.

Thanks Everyone!
By the way my names Cody and I'll post up a picture here in a bit.

I would say if they are in decent shape grab them.
Just my opinion, I think that whole group, buying here and there is going to cost more.

Tamraz gets a little over $500 for the pair of front fenders I'd say its a good deal. Be sure to post pics of the Camaro AND all the parts youre gonna steal for $450.

If those are original GM and rust free parts (surface rust is ok), then $450 is much better than just an "okay price".

Even if they have a few dings or dents to repair, it's still a great price for solid sheetmetal! I'd grab it!

Thanks for the quick replies guys! No hood, but he got good fenders, straight no rust, brand New upper and lower valances, an old core support, a grill and a bumper. It's for the full bumper car though and we are going to do a split bumper so might be doing some trading or selling. And I don't know how to post pictures from my phone so ill do it in the morning.

Thanks again guys!

That's quite a change, and if you're not getting a hood or upper and lower valances you will use, then I'd be less excited at $500. The upper and lower valances are spendy, but most people wont give you more than maybe $300 at most for new upper/lower full bumper valances from a private party. I tossed a good used lower valance after not getting a single call at $50. A good bumper will get $50-$100 depending on condition.
It's still OK, but no screaming deal for basically two fenders and a core support, plus the new valances to resell.
