Default Hey gang....a question

Hey everyone! I'm new to the forum, working my first project. I recently bought a 1980 Z28 ( a 1980 Camaro happened to be my first new car, so I'm reliving my youth a bit). After going over the vehicle....it's not as bad as I feared. My question: It was missing the rear window moulding, and windshield moulding. I found the pieces for the rear window in the trunk, and snapped them in..... I need to get a new set for the windshield,,,, the windhsield sets I have seen at the parts websites go up the sides and across the top of the windshield...what goes across the bottom of the windshield? I can't rmember how my old Camaro was configured

I look forward to picking everyon's brain as the projeect goes on!

There isn't a molding at the bottom of the windshield. Your thinking about the hood modling. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe the 80 z28 had a hood molding because the cowl.

No hood molding on Z's. That means no molding on the tops of the fenders either.

well if you want to drive you are welcome to the moldings that I have.I'm near Atco dragway. There are two plastic wing things that finish the ends of the side moldings. They cover the corners of the windshield.

How much to put those two wing things in an envelope and mail them to me? I think I have an extra set of chrome moldings. Not really sure though. I would need to crawl up in the rafters to look.

Interesting. I will have to go look to make sure but i am almost postive mine came with black moulding around the windshield and back glass with crome molding on the back of the hood with little short pieces of chrome on the top of the fenders
