Well I brought the car home from the body shop with most of the decals on, but then I have to bring it back to the shop when the guy gets a new set of cals in. he messed up the passanger side door decal so now he has to wait a couple of days for the new kit to come in so he can finish the job and also he is eating the new set im not paying for them its mess up. But other than that the car looks sweet with the decals on...

I see your car has t-tops. Did you replace the seals? If so how'd you get them on? The car looks sweet by the way. here's a pic of my 81.

I am still waiting on my seals to come in the mail. When I get them, I will put them in and I'll let you know how I did it. I should be getting them anyday now. I got them on ebay.
your car looks sweet .. the white is different. the blue decals make it look nice
Thanks for the complement. I'm trying to make mine as origional as possible also. I got aftermarket t-top seals from a-1 auto for about 169 for the pair. let me know. i'm going to need a stripe kit also. car looks good. i need more pictures of your car from diffrent angles so i can see how it looks. thanks.
Well i pulled off the old wheather stripping they came off easily. the next step is to really clean the tracks that the stripping sets in you have to get all the old sealer off so the new wheather stripping sealer will stick. thats as far as I got i will keep you posted. 80z/28
The easy way to clean the channels out where the stripping goes is to use a drill and a wire wheel. once that is done take some 82 permatex black wheather stripping glue and do a zig zag across the whole channel going around the t-top and put some glue on each end of the stripping and carefuly start laying the stripping in the channel once you got the stripping in all the way around the t-top channel take a flat knife or a flat screwdriver and tuck the stripping in the channel. 81CAMARO
Heres an update--- still dont have the other decal on the passenger side yet and now I have a knock in the motor dont know if it is a lifter or a wrist pin on one of the pistons but if it is a wrist pin Im going to pull the motor out and put new 10:1 pistons in to give a little more umph
