Default help with 71 camaro

the car was bought and it wasnt running because the carburator had to much mess inside of it. It was cleaned and it turned on. The only problem now is that its only running on four cylinders. The engine sounds right but theres not enough power. Dont know what to do to make the other four cylinders work. Does anyone hava any suggestions on what to do. The wires were changed too. Thanks

In this case I'd start with a compression test, this will let you know exactly what kind of shape the engine is in, if compression pressures are not within 5-10 p.s.i. of eachother then it's new motor time.

Im doing the same thing on a new race car in my shop class. We did a Compression test, maybe a gasket but were not there yet. Good luck.
