Default 1974 LT-type z-28

Guy's I have been looking also for this car, mid life thing, I guess. Many cars I find have wrong engines, wrong transmission, emblems in the wrong place etc.
I have a picture of my 1974, in 1978. Just as it was. The dealership, sold the car with black bumpers, window trim and hurst t-top, the same small top that were in the corvette in 1974. If some one can help me up load the photo I will show you the car. l-82 engine, strip package this car was loaded.

Default Pic Upload

I was having the same difficulty last week, getting pics to upload. One of the folks here sent me to Photobucket.com.
Go there, register, upload the pics that you want to display, save them to photobucket, then copy the link at the top of the page (it should have your username in the web address) and paste it into one of your posts.
It is super easy, believe me, if I can muddle through it, anyone can.

Sounds like a nice car you had Jim. You can use any number of free online photo storage sites like the one Rosky just mentioned. Once it's up on there just right click and you should see "copy image source" and then when posting there should be a little pic like that one that you click on and paste the image url into. Piece of cake!

If a car has sat 20 yrs the gas tank is most likely dry by now, and it needs to be pulled out and inspected. Or it may even need replacement, which at around $100 is the best route to take. Hard to ever really clean them out, and you'll be changing filters until you get sick of that task!
I'd highly agree with the suggestion of either rebuilding or replacing all the brake components. My '71 sat garaged for almost 11 yrs. and the brake lines were the only part of the system that wasn't shot.
Be careful with the clutch. If the disc is stuck to the pressure plate or flywheel you could be in big trouble if it gets started! Push the clutch in and make sure you can roll the car while it's in gear. That will ensure it's not stuck.
Drain and refill the engine, trans and rearend. All the fluids really should be changed.
