heater a/c

Default heater a/c

hey all just wanted to if i needed to do any thing different heres my qustion ok i have a 72 camaro with a/c and i dont use it so i want to take out the a/c unit to make room in the engine compartment what would i need to do for this job to make it work.

It depends on what you are planning. If you are talking about no A/C but putting in a heater then you have some work ahead of you. You would need to remove the A/C, weld up some holes and then install the heater. The box in the engine compartment and the interior are different as are the controls. If you are talking about going the heater delete route, you could remove everything and weld up the firewall. This would leave you with a fair weather car though, no heat or defrosters.

well i got the a/c unit off and is it possible to just put on a heat cover w/o a/c and would my heater stillwork
