Default Heat Dampner

Ive got a 79 z28, When i took the motor out and had it re-built, I didnt put the heat riser or dampener back on, so i just have the piece that attaches to the exhaust manifold and the pipe. The muffler shop told me that i could buy an aftermarket piece that goes there that i can put in the the original one's place (i want to replace it because it makes noise when its running, that and i dont know if its causing my motor to over heat when its hot outside and some of the exhaust cant get out.) But i was just wondering if anyone knew a company or somewhere i can find this after market piece.

You can save some money though if you take yours off, remove the butterfly, and fill the butterfly shaft holes on either side by pounding in a tight fitting bolt or small steel rod.
