How much do you want to spend? Nothing beats a good set of aftermarket aluminum heads, and AFR are a very good flowing head to have. Btw, "bigger combustion chamber" = lower compression ratio = less power.
Just be sure not to buy into the "bigger is better" way of thinking either. I have AFR heads on my want list, and even with my cubic inches, estimates showed the 195cc intake runner heads to perform better than the 210 or larger. Those estimated were verified in the real world by someone I know who has the very heads I want.
Of course, you're going to need to do quite a bit more than heads to get 400 hp from your 350.

+1 on the AFRs. If I hadn't got my Canfields from a friend, AFRs would be sitting on my car right now. There just isn't a better flowing head on the market. The mid lift numbers are were they are best. When you look for heads it can be deceiving when you read the max lift flow numbers. Some heads may state that they flow more at .700" lift. But AFRs flow VERY well at .200"-.500". Right where your average camshaft is.

Ditto on not going too big, or open chambers for street use lower compression. I'd stay with smaller chambers and lower flowing runners for best street performance and power!

I thought that they were LT1 style heads, but without the reverse cooling?

So, I'm right? I'm right! They were made to fit Gen 1 SBC's and the heads are part of the Fast Burn ZZ4 GM crate engine.

I know AFR has a good name when it comes to heads that perform. Does anybody know of a head-to-head (no pun intended, kinda) comparison between the AFR and GM?
Cost wise for complete heads, they're nearly identical.
