Harwood Hoods?

wow man is it just me or is hood clearance on stock hoods minimal?? I got a sbc in my 78 maro with an edelbrock performer and holley 600...i can barely get an edelbrock pro flo under there!! i like the look of a stock hood tho, might get a 78 z28 hood....

It's pretty tight. I run a Weiand Stealth Air Strike (like an Edelbrock Air Gap), a 1/2 inch spacer and a 750 Holley with a dropped base air cleaner. I have a .75 inch gap between the hood and the top of the air cleaner.

No, but I think it could be with a little modification. It's on my to do list which seems to be getting longer instead of shorter, lol.

yea i think im gonna investigate a drop base
