Yes, we've got our oldest daughter and granddaughter coming over later. Our other 4 kids all live out of town, so we wont see them today. Thanks for asking! Is your son home or still on active duty elsewhere?

He is in Little Rock and I miss him dearly. Hopefully we'll get together for Christmas.

Well I'm a day late but back at ya Val. Cooked my first turkey yesterday, 22# beast. Juuuuicy! I was amazed. Hope yours went well. I had inlaws all day. Could have better but wasnt bad. LOL

Thanks Damon. Yes, ours went well. Wife and I cooked together, and slow cooked a 20 lb. bird from 10:00 pm Wed. to 2:00 pm Thurs. and it was the best turkey we've done! Spent the evening cleaning up, and just grazing.

LOL I have been grazing since about 4 yesterday. I googled how to cook one and the sites all said to brine it. So thats what I did.
