Dude. That blows. There is a 79 Z two blocks down from me, sits under a tarp 24/7. All I can see is that lower grill poking out when I come home from work in the morning. Nice looking car too. I wouldn't take it but man if I was still 14 I probably would. (I was very terrable child)

Just throwing it out there..... is there a chance it fell off? I see so many posts of people looking for them it makes me wonder what happens to them all.

 

Those lower grilles are getting so scarce i even heard of people trimming down a upper grille to fit.

 

yeah pretty pissed off. but nah it definitly didnt fall off. im going to check on craigslist now. i did get into a fight a week or two back. so i've been questioning the kid who i kicked in the mouth.

 

I doubt it will come up for sale. I'd bet someone needed one for their car, and it's already on the thief's car.

 

^^ yeah the only people who know the value of the lower grille's are people who own a 78-81 and are missing it.

 

Which is most of us.

 

hell yeah the day i bought my car i took it to my work to show the guys and i told my manger to pop the hood so he bent down to look under the front bumper to find my hood release and some how fell grabbed my lower grille and busted it off.i was not too pissed untill i got online and saw how much they can cost

 

Grounds for a bump in pay right there. Don't let him forget it. LOL
