Man that rear tube on the pass. side header is really close to the firewall! Did you have to massage the firewall any to get that in?

No massaging of the header or firewall necessary in my case. You can't see from that angle but there is about 1/16 of an inch clearance.

Thanks. I'm probably going to go with a pretty bold orange metallic. Unless I see something else I like. Like the rotor glow orange on the Mitsi's and the blazing copper on the ford edge.

I actually like the warmth of the color on the Ford over the Mitsi to be honest. It looks really nice and inviting. There's a bit too much yellow/copper in the Mitsi for me. But that could also be a number of things with the camera (white balance, photoshop, aperature, f-stop, etc.) that could be affecting the colors.

The ford color was actually my first choice and I always seem to go back to it. Every time I see a new color on a vehicle I like I'm all over it. Anyone watching me probably think I 'm nuts as I check the color from different angles. Lexus,Toyota and Scion have some great new colors this year that really pop that I've been looking at. This one is called sunset bronze mica.

Going solid on the color, or plans for any SS stripe color? I think a gold or bronze SS stripe would really look nice with any of those colors!

I am thinking about some kind of stripe Vall. Not sure if i want SS stripes though because of the lines on the hood. Maybe something like a yenko stripe. Not really sure right now. I can't even decide on the color, LOL. I do agree, gold or a darker bronze would be a nice contrast.

Forgot about the hood! You're right; a single wider stripe on the deck with a single stripe that followed the hood contour would make more sense. With the little 1/4" parallel stripe beside it.
