Well $10k was sure too much, but $6900 is getting more realistic. If the drivetrain is in good shape, solid body, and decent interior, that's not a bad price. Of course I always try for cheaper, regardless of where they were. or where they are now. If you have cash, take it with you and tell them $6k cash and be prepared to walk. I bet they either take it or counter close.

DEPENDING ON THE CONDITION I WAS THINKING $5500. AT THE MOST.
IF IT NEEDS PAINT WHICH IT PROBABLY DOES IM NOT SURE DEPENING ON THE REST OF THE CAR HE SAID THE SEAT WAS RIPPED ALITTLE SO IT MAY NEED SEAT COVERS IT'S HARD BECAUSE WE USED TO PICK UP THE SAME CODITION FOR ABOUT $2000. I'M ALSO LOOKING AT AN 81 TRANS AM IT HAS A 69 400 IN IT NO T-TOPS AND A DECENT BODY

Looks like tha T/A has already been repainted at some time. That always makes me a little hesitant, as not sure what or how the bodywork was done. If it's a solid car, I'd rather go with the T/A, but it will cost a bit more to restore with Pontiac engine parts a bit higher than SBC or BBC.

Good choice! If they fibbbed about a couple things, then they're probably hiding even more. The T/A appears to be a pretty clean, complete car.
