with the suspension it feels like it has more body roll than i like. i havent looked real close yet but im sure there would be some bushesthat need replacing and greasing and all that.i think i can hear a rear wheel bearing humming as well.i have heard the pontiac rear sway bars are good for the camaro, larger diammeter.i dropped the oil and transmission fluid and they were both pretty dirty so im sure there is some stuff under there that needs attention.i havent got it complianced for australian roads yet but thats booked in for the 7th . then i can register it and rip the motor and trans out and give it a full tidy up.

Wow, nice ride!. I dig the paint in the stripes. What kind of auto parts stores are there that can get you what you need? The pontiac parts should work no problem on that car, fire bird, T/A and Camaro are all f-body so most parts are interchangable.

there are quite a few parts stores over here that can get camaro parts. most of them are interstate otherwise i have the classic industries catalogue here that i WILL be giving a work out !!! shipping is the killer to get things here. thanks.. the paint is called marbelling aparently and i like it too. just a question about door locks... should there be a different key for doors, trunk and ignition. i have only 2 keys, ignition and trunk. should the trunk key double up for the doors or is that normally a different key as i cant lock/unlock my doors butone of thekeys does workfor the trunk ?

You have a gorgeous looking car.
You should beable to find a matching lock & key set online, for both doors and trunk. Matching ignition switch may be a little difficult.
Personally, I think the suspension should be the first thing you attack.Check out www.p-s-t.com they have good stuff, good prices, and quick shipping. You can choose fromdifferent levels of upgrades, Even tubular upper and lower control arms.It can get expensive, though. Ive done my '70 and my 68 GTO conv. If the steering gearbox looks old you may want to consider a new close ratio steering box. Makes a big difference. You also may run into problems with the rear sway bar if it isnt a Z28 because the bolt mounting area can conflict with the exhaustrouting, unless you know someone who is very good with fabrication. Also might want to check out this site www.spaghettiengineering.com they make some kick *** taillights for your year. Good luck!
