Default finished today's work

took out the carpet and some doodads
the guy who did the wiring was a trained expert, he used bread ties to keep the wires together!

the floor panels are solid except for holes at the foot area on both sides.

not much, but we have thanksgiving week off!

just need to find some sheet metal (i actually used an old trailer fender cut up) to fix those holes. I just finished replacing my floorpans which was a major project, but they only come up to that line just below your hole in the last pic. the part rusted through is part of the firewall sheet metal, but you won't find a replacement for our models. if you do, let me know... the PS is easy cause it's flat, the DS takes a little more work if you need to do any up behind the pedals.

I had the same holes in mine. I used galvanized flashing tin to patch it. It's pretty easy to work with and very corrosion resistant. It's also cheap...can get it at home depot, lowes, etc. After removing and treating the rust areas, Iapplied rubberized coating to help with sound dampening and corrosion protection.

What type of rubberizing coating did you use?
