Wow, nice project. Your engine looks clean and I think you've picked just the right parts, and most important you are doing the body right. It ought to be fantastic when done.

I have always had a soft-spot for the 68 Camaro. My first new car was a 327 Camaro I bought in early 1968. I loved it dearly but was too poor to make any significant mods to it. I wish I still owned it, but a few years later it went as trade in on an Oldsmobile sedan for a small blond I wanted more (I don't have her either, now, but I'm quite happy about that . . . ).

One question. You say in your web site you are welding the body panels on? I always used welds where they would not show, but brazed/silver soldered instead of welded anywhere I was replacing sheet metal that would show. I would detent or ledge the sheet metal and overlap it slightly, the braze or silver solder, and I never had a problem with strength or anything breaking, butit was easier and less likely to burn through or overheat and warp the sheet metal than welding.

I agree with Lee, heck of an engine. That is interesting what you said about brazing. That sounds real nice.

Good job with the car.
