yep, wish I could get it all at once, but I don't want to wait that long.

Its kind of a joke. Anyone who has put down good power on slicks knows. The axel shafts are your next weakest link.

oh, I figured I would break a yoke before an axle. I have broken many yokes in 4x4's.
But I do plan on getting the axles shortly after. Mostly because everyone says to.

4X4s don't hook like drag cars.

idk why everyone is freaking out about a little whine... richmonds are known to be noisy the same as biggins.... they just have some drone to them, has nothing to do with how they were installed as far as it being incorrect is just the way they are, they make a little noise, so what, i have mufflers on the end of my headers for exhaust, that makes a "little" noise... so what

That was my thought. I think it is fine, but I guess only time will tell.

my buddy put richmond 4.10 in his car two years ago,,, its had a decently loud drone ever since and hes made at least 100 track passes and nearly dailys it.... so no problem to make a little noise.

My posts were directed towards him not checking backlash at all. Too tight or loose they won't last long. That was my only point. I guarantee my Borg Warner whines more than both your rears put together. Kind of like it that way.

I've got Richmond gears in my 10 bolt, and they've never whined. I know of others who also use Richmond and don't whine. Not sure where you got the info that all Richmond gears whine??
