I recently purchased a 1977 camaro with a 402 CI BB engine under the hood. The engine is almost brand new but the previous owner
failed to install the proper size pulley for the belt. thus, causing the belt to come off when the engine gets pushed too hard. its depressing really. Anybody have any ideas on where to get a low costing pulley?

first off, cheap pulleys are exactly that...cheap...and it will just keep giving you more headaches
back on subject: what pulley are you taking about? as JRs72RS has asked, is alignment the real issue? if it isn't, then it's probably not a case of the "wrong" pulley (which pulley are you talking about?), it's probably that you are just in need of a deep-groove pulley
here is something that I was going to assume you know, but I'll post it anyway: once a belt flips once, it is no good. throw it away or it will just keep flipping easier and easier everytime
