Always to the Engine work first. You cant have a good runing car without an engine

 

Always get the mechanical side of the car right then do the paint job. I've scratched to many cars getting careless with screw drivers, ratchets, etc.

 

Are you going to paint the engine compartment? Why go through the trouble of getting a perfectly good running motor, in there nice and ready, just to pull it back out to paint it all? I would think you would go all out and not just the 99 dollar paint job.

 

Get a paint job for the summer and swap the engine next fall/winter
