Default Echoleader's 79 Camaro Project (restoration sort of)

Hi, as stated in another thread I purchased a 79 Camaro, It's a Berlinetta G code (305 cu).

The floor pans need replacing and so will the interior and thebody is pretty straight and I plan on building a 550hp 350 motor for it. The 305 in the car now runs and has only 60K actual miles on it, car looks to have been sitting at least for 5 years because it has 2004 tags on it but who knows for sure how long it's been sitting and doesn't really matter as I plan on replacing everything and doing some change overs (rear disc brakes).
I cleaned out my garage (i use to be a garage kit maker of scifi models and prop replicas) then decided to buy a camaro and work on this instead of making model kits for people who don't appreciate the hard work that goes into making model masters and producing kits.

I pulled the hood off and some of the interior out, also I bought a used (1968-1984) 350 with 4 bolt mains for 275.00 which this will be the engine i will build for this car.

Plans and projected completion date:

Replace floor pans and any other rusted out metal
Replace interior from red to black (will have red carpet and rest will be black)
Do some body work and repaint car Red
Build a 550hp 350 motor and replace current motor
add some headers, dual exhaust out the sides.

Hope to be finished in Feb as I will be working on the everyday all day until finished.

That's one heck of a fast schedule! Wish I could have finished mine that quickly!
Looks like a decent car to start with.

One way to save some time and money would be to dye any usable interior parts, like the dash, console, etc. as replacing every part will get very expensive and time consuming trying to track down every piece.
